Eligibility: Anyone who is a victim (or family/friend) of: Sexual Assault or Domestic Violence.
Service Description: Available 24/7 to provide crisis intervention to survivors of sexual assault and abuse. All survivors who receive medical care are offered the services of an advocate who provides emotional support, clothing, information regarding procedures and options and follow up support and referrals. The advocate serves as a liaison between the survivor, police and ER personnel. Medical advocate can be present and supportive during use of the Rape Kit and act as liaison between medical personnel and survivor. Legal advocate will act as liaison through the criminal justice process. Advocate can go to court with or for victim, following their wishes.

* For assistance with: housing, utilities, household goods, food, etc., they refer the client to the appropriate community agency.
* Serve Black Hawk, Bremer & Chickasaw Counties.
* Office Hours: 8:00 AM !€“ 5:00 PM M-F. If personnel leave the office, phone is rolled over to another manned line.
