*Elderly Outreach Assisted Transportation Program: Must be 55+, volunteers use personal vehicles to drive seniors to non-emergency medical appointments outside of Jones County.
*VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance): Trained and certified volunteers provide free tax preparation for individuals and families that meet income guidelines. Must schedule an appointment by phone or online.
*SHIIP (Senior Health Insurance Information) provides free of charge counseling and information to people with questions about Medicare programs.
*Volunteer Reception Center: serves as a point of mobilization, registration, and referral for spontaneous, unaffiliated volunteers who emerge in response to a disaster.
